i think her self destructing and ruining her own life by choosing homelander / was / a good ending for her. she chose to spend her life spewing hate and choosing him time and time again even though he didn’t know her, and when he did know her it got her killed.

it kills me that homelander literally gave firecracker a chance to leave. yet she clinged onto him even harder cause she burned all the bridges and atp had no one left. and once she reminded him of his own humanity it was a death sentence. a tragic end
