kim są twoi koledzy? Szenyszyn, Pawel Lech, Rafał Lipski,... wy wszyscy chodzicie w futrzanych butach.
Co fundujesz Polakom... wlaśnie klapki, bo czego sie spodziewać po skrajnym lewactwie
@mjovanovictech@tailwindcss Nice! I used this approach to generate PDFs in couple projects, Playwright worked pretty well for me.
Did you use Razor engine that comes with framework or some other open source package?
Working on an HTML-to-PDF video.
Pretty happy with the results 👇
The input is a Razor file (.cshtml). I render it to an HTML string and then convert that to a PDF using IronPDF.
I'm also using @tailwindcss for styling.
Works like a charm.
.NET devs, what source control providers are you using?
Github, Gitlab, something else?
I'm interested in what you are using at your jobs and your side projects.
@Dave_DotNet Thanks for clearing it out. In that case I don't think I've ever created a marker interface myself. Like someone else mentioned in the comments its maybe useful if you write a library, but probably rarely used in other cases.
@piotrbakun It's an interface with a methods or properties, so if the base interfaces has nothing in it either yeah the sub interface is still basically a marker interface ..
@codewithvoid It depends at which point of live you currently in.
If you are in your 20s just after high school then go to college, it's an experience and you should learn something along the way.
If you have any tech background take self thought way.
Otherwise probably bootcamp would be best.
@NanouuSymeon Do you want to create a portfolio? If so, there is getstage.app — an API based developer portfolio where you can display all your data from different sources like GitLab, GitHub, DevTo, Twitter.. and generate a beautiful looking page in a few minutes. always in-sync
@ryanchenkie I create HTML string using Razor in C#, but you could use something like scriban, liquid or any other templating engine. Then just make PDF out of that. Any page breaking issues I solve with JS scripts on that HTML.
I commonly use pug and puppeteer together to generate PDFs with data based on a template.
Is there anything newer/better than pug for this? wondering if there's something that's a bit easier to work with.
@AliAbdaal Same exact way I took when I was starting:
1. Pick a language
2. Go through 2-3 tutorials (basics and framework of choice)
3. Make a project using knowlegde from Point 2
If you're interested queue message systems and Azure I recently posted an article about Asynchronous Request-Reply pattern in Azure Service Bus. Enjoy!

I'm happy to share that I started a developer's blog. Until I run out of ideas I plan to publish new post each Sunday. My main interest are oriented around .NET and DevOps, but I won't be limiting myself to those topics only. Check it out!

@RealSwimburger@bryanjhogan I also love working with docker, specially in dev environment. You could also consider changing default location for new dbs and attach a volume to that folder to avoid data loss in case of container removal.
Want to use SQL Server with your .NET app, but you don't want to go through the bulky and complex installation? @bryanjhogan got you.
Check out this great post by on developing .NET apps with SQL Server running in containers

Hey @AzureSupport, do you think you could help me on that one?
