If you have $100M in VC funding you can keep losing money for years Then you finally turn the profit toggle on and disable free users and 10x pricing But if you're bootstrapped you don't have the money to subsidize free users or the time to wait to turn profitable

Free credits lower my conversion rate by 60%. I conducted an A/B test to check if giving free credits could increase my revenue. These are the results: - Conversion rate dropped from 2.1% to 0.9% (-60%) 🛑 - Revenue after free credit costs per user dropped from $0.38 to $0.23 (-40%) 🛑 I’d better not give free credits anymore. 😅
