I picked 5 people that I know are republicans, and I asked each one separately what trumps platform is. NOT ONE of them knew. I asked if they knew what project 2025 was. Only one had an idea, and he said it was to help America. When I asked how, he didn’t know. I asked ALL of them if they thought they should know what their party offered before they voted. ALL OF THEM SAID NO. The ignorance of so many republicans is what’s going to make it so hard to fight for Democracy. They have NO CLUE what they’re voting for. I don’t mean to disgrace these people, but it looks like we have an entire political party of stupid people that just vote because they’re told to, but have no idea why.

@RealMartyT7 I understand your post however you left out one very important fact and that Trump is an ex-POTUS and that separate him from ordinary probationers.

I have been criticized for this post. I wrote the post based on the reporting of a Business insider article. What we do on X is in the moment. And so was this article. The BI reporting said Trump was making a big mistake by not showing up at probation and filling out the probation report for Judge Merchan. I agree. That was my own opinion. Is that ”misleading”? I don't think so. I subsequently heard conflicting reports that Trump was and was not told to report. I welcome that information. But based on what was reported at the time from Business Insider and other reports. Trump blew off reporting to probation. That was the entire point of this article. No one intentionally lied or was misleading. I respect my followers and anyone who takes the time to read my posts. I will always strive for accuracy. If I am wrong I will admit it but in this case I reported what was known at the time. Trump did not report to probation and that may have very negative( for Trump) impact on his sentencing.

Following his felony convictions. Donald Trump was required to report to probation services to prepare a post conviction pre sentencing report for Judge Merchan. Trump blew off the requirement and left the courthouse before he visited with his new probation officers. That may have been a big mistake Judge Merchan depends on the probation report to determine Trump’s sentence. If he cannot follow the rules of probation. Prison may be the necessary sentence. Whether Trump is sentenced to prison, probation or a ‘split sentence’ of prison and probation. Probation services are about to be a big part of Donald Trump’s life. Criminals on probation are supposed to accept their guilt and show some signs of remorse and retribution for their crimes. Trump is not likley to do that. If Trump doesn‘t follow the rules. He can and will be violated and sentenced to prison. As a convicted felon,Trump no longer has the freedoms that are afforded to those of us without a felony conviction. One restriction will be on Trump’s travel. As a convicted felon Trump will need permission to leave his state of residence. His passport will be seized and any foreign travel will be prohibited or greatly restricted by his rules of probation. Not only that but many countries do not allow felons to enter their county. This conviction will drastically change Trump‘s life. I do not see Trump successfully completing a sentence of probation if that is his sentence. #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue #DemsUnited

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single Biden flag on a street when Joe goes somewhere Every time Trump goes anywhere there are always dozens and sometimes hundreds of supporters that line the streets to greet him. Such a difference in enthusiasm

BREAKING: Donald Trump gets nailed with bad news as New York Attorney General Letitia James pumps the brakes and demands proof that the company covering his $175 million bond is "financially sound." This is the last thing that Trump needed... In a new surprise filing with the court, James demanded the proof because she has serious concerns about Knight Speciality Insurance Company, the company underwriting the massive bond. The filing states that James "hereby takes exception to the sufficiency of the surety" and notes that the company is operating "without a certificate of qualification." New York law stipulates that such companies show that they're "solvent, responsible and otherwise qualified to make policies or contracts of the kind required." Knight Speciality Insurance Company operates out of California and so James doesn't have access to the required information. She is demanding that they produce adequate evidence to show that they can cover the amount if Trump loses his appeal. Please retweet and ❤️ if you stand with Letitia James — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Imagine if Joe Biden bought X and started censoring/banning to fit his political needs and then took it public where foreign governments could trade the stock to affect his net worth. If Trump takes Truth Social public through the merger with a shell company, the same thing will happen. Foreign governments would buy and sell the stock in order to try and get favors from Trump or even to try and get retribution with Trump. This would be corruption at its finest for any president, but for some reason Republicans don’t care that Trump appears to be about to do this. Are people really OK with this?

BREAKING: Trump is unable to pay his $464 million bond, according to his attorneys. I find it rather comical that many prominent Republicans are asking why other wealthy Republicans aren’t going to help Trump pay this bill. Trump has claimed to be a billionaire. His daughter and son-in-law are worth close to a billion dollars combined. His other children are worth millions. If anyone should be helping him out, it should be his children, and from what I can see, they are not. Maybe there is a reason for that.

Are Trump supporters perfectly fine with Donald Trump blatantly lying to them? He claims that he released the tape of his call with Ukrainian President Zelensky, and then claims that Nancy Pelosi realized that the tape proved Trump’s innocences. Fact is there was never any tap released. A bunch of notes were release by those listening in on the phone call, and it showed that Trump specifically asked for Zelensky to announce an investigation into Hunter and Joe Biden. Why does he keep trying to rewrite history? Soon he will blame Democrats for the January 6th riots. Oops, never mind. He already has done that.

BREAKING: Joe Biden’s wild economic claims during his State of the Union address were fact-checked six times by The New York Times. 1. “15 million new jobs in just three years — a record,” Biden claimed. • The Times ruled the claim needed context because the job gains “were beginning to return” before Biden came to office from the huge losses during the pandemic. 2. “My policies have attracted $650 billion in private sector investment, in clean energy, advanced manufacturing, creating tens of thousands of jobs here in America!” • The Times ruled Biden’s statement lacked context and Biden calculated $650 billion based on “public announcements of investments — not necessarily dollars spent — across industries targeted by Mr. Biden’s legislative accomplishments.” 3. “I am cutting our carbon emissions in half by 2030.” • The Times determined that Biden’s statement lacked context and Biden confused his goal of cutting emissions in half with what his actual policies would cut. 4. “We’ve already cut the federal deficit over a trillion dollars.” •The Times ruled Biden’s claim needed context: Under Mr. Biden’s watch, the federal deficit dropped to $1.4 trillion in fiscal year 2022 from $3.1 trillion in fiscal year 2021 — but much of that reduction was attributed to the expiration of coronavirus relief spending. The deficit then rose in 2023, to about $1.7 trillion. The deficit remains higher than it was before the coronavirus pandemic. 5. “You know, there are 1,000 billionaires in America. You know what the average federal tax is for these billionaires? They are making great sacrifices: 8.2 percent. That’s far less than the vast majority of Americans’ pay.” •The Times reported Biden’s claim did not “technically” reflect the current tax rate. 6. “Many of my friends on the other side of the aisle want to put Social Security on the chopping block.” •“Republicans are not currently calling for cuts to Social Security,” the Times said. Former President Trump, in fact, said in 2022 that he would never cut Social Security.
