@Sharky_vs_cobra @GuzKhanOfficial God that is so sad. You’ve been brainwashed to think that all men were raping and beating up their wives? Thats the same as saying it’s Islamic culture to have gangs raping children. The self hatred of people such as yourself is off the scale.

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial You trying to rewrite history? Its 100% proven facts that those things where indeed part of british culture. clearly you just want racists and woman beaters to thrive again given you think teaching these things are bad things is some how wrong.

@Sharky_vs_cobra @GuzKhanOfficial How depressing that’s what you think British culture is. Sort of proves my point. You expect people to flourish when they’re told to hate themselves and their forefathers?

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial 60 years ago "british culture" heavily consisted of stealing babies away from single parent mothers, racism was rife and children where sent to youth detention centres for minor offences 35 years ago domestic violence and marital rape was heavily part of "british culture".

@FormerylNurgle @GuzKhanOfficial I’ll get ready for the incoming block now you’ve lost the argument. They didn’t return to what they were because they liked SOME of what the British brought because it was BETTER. No one forces Indians to play cricket…

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial Such a nonsense argument. The countries had been fundamentally changed by colonisation. They couldn't return to what they were If you are not even going to think about your posts you are not worth discussing with

@FormerylNurgle @GuzKhanOfficial Ah yes no one wanted our laws, democracy, commerce, infrastructure and technology. Thats why when the British left they got rid of it all…. … oh wait, they didn’t.

@FormerylNurgle @GuzKhanOfficial Nuance is a wonderful thing. The empire also, - ended the slave trade - modernised and set up infrastructure - set up the rule of law allowing fair commerce, justice and democracy - ended many regional wars and disputes stabilising regions

@naelcmsyhr @GuzKhanOfficial Well legally and constitutionally we are so he’s right. Culturally we are too even if not a majority are practicing. I don’t know why he went to this event. Maybe he wanted to check out a weird and new phenomenon of 10,000s of people praying in a field?

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial For starters, he claims we're a Christian nation, which is divorced from material reality. Secondly, he showed up to an event and made himself a victim because he obviously already has preconceived notions on muslims from watching tiktoks and gb news.

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial British culture isn't a flag The Union Jack is controversial because of its adoption by far right and racist groups Its undeniable that the British Empire was a great evil, exploiting and pillaging countries around the world

@naelcmsyhr @GuzKhanOfficial How do you know his politics aren’t informed by the material reality he lives? The demographics of the country are changing. Some people find this unsettling. How can you not begin to understand this?

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial no, i was raised by my single parent mother, who worked endlessly to provide, was largely too young, poor, busy, and disengaged to vote. my politics are informed by the material reality i lived and higher education (first in my family). i can empathise fine. not with racists tho.

@naelcmsyhr @GuzKhanOfficial Well I have no idea who you are but I can have a guess? Like me, you come from a left wing, Labour voting family and this has shaped your views. Unlike me, you are unwilling to emphasise with or try to understand other people’s viewpoints from the opposite side.

@DaveWimblePhoto @GuzKhanOfficial There’s the condescension and sneering attitude in all its glory. No wonder we ended up with fucking Brexit and Farage.

@FormerylNurgle @GuzKhanOfficial I’m no flag shagger but the fact it’s controversial to fly the Union Jack or England flag is ridiculous in my view as is the view that we should be ashamed of the British Empire.

@pipsqueak1890 @GuzKhanOfficial When has anyone ever said that British culture is worthless? If you are going to raise issues, make sure they are real ones. If your "genuine concerns" are confected or based on lies no one is going to take you seriously
