I think the use of “goy” as the new meme word on here mostly started with people making fun of that insane guy for calling the Biscoff cookie a “Goyblock” but there’s also a semi-earnest effort to portray it as righteous reclamation of an anti-white slur now

I think what this is truly revealing of is that popular culture metabolizes slang after it starts getting used ironically. The main complaint of cultural appropriation isn’t the spread of culture, which can’t be stopped, but the widespread mockery of black culture leading to this
