Abordarea strategică a României în ceea ce privește politica externă a rămas neschimbată, iar discuțiile interne intense din această perioadă nu afectează în niciun fel pilonii fundamentali pe care ne bazăm de decenii – Uniunea Europeană, SUA și NATO. De altfel, termenul 'pro-occidental' integrează acești trei piloni de politică externă ai României. Această predictibilitate asumată de România de peste 20 de ani a reprezentat unul dintre marile avantaje competitive ale țării noastre. De aceea, mesajul meu ferm este acesta: dezbaterea internă politică este specifică democrației, însă niciun moment nu sunt puse în discuție direcția noastră europeană, relația cu Statele Unite și o atitudine corectă în cadrul NATO. Așadar, nu există vreo șansă ca în viitoarea majoritate să existe forțe antioccidentale. Pentru România, nu e vorba de o alegere între acești piloni strategici, ci de a exista o compatibilizare cât mai bună. Cu cât Europa este mai puternică, cu atât NATO e mai puternic, cu cât NATO e mai puternic, cu atât Europa este mai puternică. Iran's conventional navy was severely obsolete, with many ships dating back to the 1970s. Bragging about blowing it up is like bragging about destroying an enemy's catapults or chariots. It never posed a real threat. Crucially, Iran's asymmetric navy, composed of small, swift, hard-to-locate craft is still operational. It's these smaller ships that allow Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz and Trump has no real means of destroying them. "What do you think, Jared?" Trump continued.
