i dont think people realise how long implementing a friends system with joining games (and seemingly messaging functionality later) in the backend would have taken them
ESPECIALLY with the whole online saftey act they have just had to deal with

@necrotimigaud @harristic_ friends list is nice, but thankfully mojang is adding it :D I get it, really. I just don't like essentials shop at all, it's similar to bedrock and I don't support it. Obviously other people will say "dont buy it" but Mojang added a better p2p so!!

@batatatamata19 @bielles52 @harristic_ if you know how to set up a vanilla server, some modpacks offer a server.jar folder that make it sooo much easier for hosting server modpacks. There are some guides on youtube i had to watch to get it working though!

@ssunheejippery @AvaTarrMain @harristic_ now you see, that is just hilarious. They only host the server side for FRIEND request and the shops! Which is fine in it of itself, if the shop wasn't predatory. They do not host servers that YOU make.

@ssunheejippery @harristic_ they don't even let you buy any cosmetics through the store with your card. You have to buy a currency similar to how roblox handles it. not to mention it's a mod that at any moment can just stop being worked on lol

@kmb42600 @harristic_ theres a way to join worlds in bedrock edition, though it's not perfect. My dream update is crossplay with java so we can add friends on bedrock.

Even Bedrock doesnt support that without Realms
