Black History Month is mighty quiet this year. Years prior, sports networks & traditional news outlets were doing features, documentaries and story telling on the history and tradition of what this month means in the context of world history and the plight of black people. Corporate North America had a blank cheque for keynote speakers and “ambassadors” to speak on the topic when it was “trendy”. Even though we all knew it was performative at the time, at least a conversation was being had. Now all of that is gone because of the racist pumpkin in the White House who has attacked the movement and people of color as a whole and these networks, individuals and corporations cowardly capitulated and folded like a lawn chair. Don’t be mistaken us conscious black folk will remember when you come back and it’s “cool” to talk about important causes such as BHM & many others.

@richardwarnica It’s bananas. You can’t park on most main roads that have green P parking so can’t get to businesses. It would be one thing if they were actually going to plow a street but they’re not.

I regularly cut up spicy peppers to make hot sauce, and I’d like to avoid the chore of taking out the inner white part. Assuming I’m roasting and then finely blending it all with other stuff, does it matter if I leave in the white stuff and the seeds?
