@HeathBennett_ I was saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. He had such a great influence on me on becoming a teaching. Dr Merriman from Manhattan passed recently and I realized that I never got the chance to pay my respects to your father.

@HeathBennett_ I met you when you were in the 5th or 6th grade. You came up to our May Camp with your Dad. I also saw you wrestle varsity wrestling as an 8th grader at East Ramapo HS. I know you later went to Hackley. Your Dad was always very proud of you and spoke often of you.

@KirkHerbstreit I'm sorry for your loss Kirk. I always enjoyed watching you and Ben traveling the world of college & pro football each week. I had to put my girl Sasha down 5 years ago & I still haven't gotten over it. Ben brought so much joy to others. Prayers go out to you and your family.

Almost 1 year ago in the same city-in the same hotel-in the EXACT SAME room-in the same matchup Cincy at Baltimore-I posted this video of Ben showing me where our hotel room was-this is classic Ben with the tail, the smile, & the excitement to show me he knows where the room is!
