The Oak on Dame St. It contains oak panelling salvaged from the RMS Mauretania, hence its name. We reckon it suffers from being subsumed into its nearest neighbour, now trading once again as Thomas Read's. Would be better as a two-tap, sawdust-on-the-floor sort of pub. IMHO.
