@hhhracingpod @TurfwayPark The issue is its predatory. People that don’t understand what it takes to profit long term will put money in it like a lotto ticket. It’s frustrating to see bets that are designed to prey on players and not encourage people to handicap and try to find a way to actually win

I'm already hearing complaining / consternation about the new "Octafecta" @TurfwayPark. Isn't this a case of "if you don't like it, don't play it?" If the pools are small and it doesn't work, it won't last long. If it's popular, it'll hang around. Doesn't really hit my radar frankly.

There was never an all-public Super 8 final (1991-2020). Considering the Super 8 and D1 before its creation as the highest level, I believe last one was 1978 — when Hudson beat Burlington in OT. 48 years ago.

@T_Mulherin Tom when was the last time there was an all public final for Mass highest level? So gotta include Super 8 era, and it never happened then as I think the 3 publics that won beat Catholics. 80s? 70s? Could be historic if it ends up Hingham vs Arlington.

A 35-year-old British man has been arrested after damaging self-service check-in kiosks in the early morning of Monday at Hong Kong International Airport. Social media footage showed a man pushing over the kiosks at the airport’s departure hall and smashing them with a metal post. The Airport Authority told HKFP that at around 6am on Monday, a man damaged roughly 10 smart check-in kiosks, some railings and nearby counters at Aisle J of the airport’s Terminal 1. “Airport Authority staff and airport security personnel rushed to the scene and warned the man to stop causing further damage,” a spokesperson for the authority said. “Police have arrested the man and launched an investigation.” Police said the man is a 35-year-old British tourist and that he was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of “Part 1” poisons.
