WAKE UP, People. Today, Palestine is a REVEALER of the system we live in. Not long ago, European Jews were genocided in 'civilized' Europe, under everyone's eyes: they were "unseen", and not many seemed to care. Today, millions of people "see" and are trying to stop Israel's genocide - protesting, seeking accountability - invoking the very legal framework that was crafted after the Holocaust to ensure "never again". But, from the US to Europe, they are either ignored or harshly punished. Far too many states are enabling the genocide of the Palestinians, while turning also repressive toward their own citizens. This is both revolting and scary. We must stop it now.

My humble *plea* to #opensource projects out there: please write OPINIONATED documentation. When I'm trying your thing out for the first time, 13 possible installation options is NOT HELPFUL. Give me ONE that works most of the time, with a pointer to more if I'm feeling fancy.

It's my 20th Drupalversary today! In 2003 @drupal was the best open source web system with structured data and flexible outputs to modernize the site of our Hungarian web dev portal. I immediately got involved to improve it and soon figured out the community was even better! 💙

I'm not sure people fully appreciate the scale at which the @drupal project would be damaged, if @xjmdrupal reduced significantly her level of contribution. I had the privilege to act as a Drupal committer for a few years and I'm not even willing to contemplate the idea. 2/3

@GabeSullice At the moment we don't have any sort of budget surplus or open positions that could be repurposed for this, but if partners were interested in supporting an endowment for core positions or something like that, perhaps we could make it happen.
