I watched Eastwood's latest film "Juror No. 2" on U-NEXT, since it was not released theatrically in Japan. It was a masterpiece. It reminded me of Eastwood from around the time of "Mystic River" and "Changeling." This is Eastwood's version of "12 Angry Men.” Similarly, it begins with 1 (not guilty) vs. 11 (guilty), but the circumstances in this film are completely different. It is a legal drama but also a Hitchcock-like thriller. The screenplay is good in every way. The actors are excellent. The music is by Mark Mancina, not Eastwood. Eastwood questions, “What is justice?”and I wish I could’ve seen it in theaters.
