We unveiled our new #juniordoctors mess at Hull Royal Infirmary today, updated to provide comfortable modern surroundings for doctors in training to rest and relax. As well as seating, dining and kitchen areas, there are also 4 sleeping pods for those on-call/on shifts @PurvaDr

Very disappointing service from @YorkshireWP. Closed due to lockdown and unable to use the family ticket since then as wife has been working in ICU throughout covid and #yorkshirewildlifepark won’t honour the first purchase. Will go to @chesterzoo instead! #dissappointed 6yr old!

@NMPhysio @thecspstudents Really good suggestion @ Neal! Having completed 1 week of a paediatric placement, this also appears to be an individual discipline within Physiotherapy and would also make a good addition as a module along side the 3 core modules

@thecspstudents If it’s a growing perspective in the Physiotherapy role, I think this placement ‘disciplinary’ should be a taught module. Disagree with some students having the benefit of this learning and not others. We have taught modules on MSk/Neuro/Resp in line with those placements 🤔

Our placements may not have always looked and felt how we expected them to, but current students and recent graduates will be some of the most versatile Physios the profession has ever seen! #PhysioStudents
