My amazing mother, who was always on my team, passed away this morning. She battled kidney disease & cancer for the last few years & recently things got bad, which is why I've been out. Thankfully, my family and I all got to say goodbye to her over the last few days. RIP, Mom.

@twithersCLE I was in high school and was sitting at home on the edge of my seat in the 9th. I think Billy North of the A’s made the last out. On top of it being a no-hitter, Bozeman did it against the vaunted Oakland A’s that ended up winning the World Series that year - they were loaded.

I'm so old, I remember Dick Bosman's no-hitter for Cleveland in 1974.

@AlPawlowski It addresses two things; 1. allows the 🏈 guys to play ⚾️ in the spring. 2. Allows marginal ⚾️ players that aren’t as athletically skilled as some of the 🏈 guys a better shot at making the team/more playing time (fall) and hopefully improve their game.

@playballJB Split season wouldn’t be a bad idea. It gives you the chance to play baseball in weather more suited for it in the fall and less games would be canceled.

Another high school baseball game scheduled today, another rainout. Ohio needs to give strong consideration to playing baseball in the fall. The spring weather here has never been conducive for baseball. Many, many missed opportunities for growth and development.

When did youth baseball get so serious? Exit velo. Radar guns. Rankings. Travel teams at 8 years old. What happened to just playing because it’s the greatest game ever invented? Sometimes it feels like we all forget it’s still a kid’s game. ⚾️

Because the Browns had to release David Njoku, Jack Conklin & Wyatt Teller because of void years due to previous restructurings, club will not be eligible for compensatory picks in 2027 on these departures. Same with Joel Bitonio.

@BrownsBacker15 Agree with @brownsgirlinAZ . It comes down to where you grew up & your age. I grew up in the Youngstown area (50/50 split fans) in 60’s/70’s and had to put up with Pitt winning 4 SB’s in the 70’s. It sucked! Yes Balt stole our team but I blame Model way more than Balt for that.

#DawgPound can fan however they like, but I’ll never comprehend hating steelers more than ravens. Esp pre 1999 fans. They stole your team & your SB, while the steelers voted against moving the Browns. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the steelers, but ravens are scummy. #Browns
