@JohnCleese @DaveSla47547879 Do you remember during the election campaign he said come 5 pm on a Friday he would be home to have dinner with his wife and children come what may 🤷‍♀️ He wanted to portray himself as this wholesome family man 🤦‍♀️ The biggest con man ever

@sophielouisecc Nobody who can’t add up and understand simple maths should be pontificating about working conditions. People can do the same amount of hours in four days if they do longer shifts. I guess a difficult concept for you?

THE King is head of the Church of England. He issued Ramadan and Eid messages, but apparently isn’t bothering with Easter this year. What the holy f***? Not ok.

The Green Party is full of UNSERIOUS People who deserve to never be near power as they are dangerously Unhinged. FACT! Ok at a Festival, but NOT running a Country.

This is Jess Phillips, the Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence against Women and Girls. Seemingly drunk, slurring her words, and barely able to keep her eyes open. While talking about murdered women and girls. She is an absolute disgrace.

@KirstieMAllsopp Japan is hot on this. Very few litter bins as individuals take responsibility for taking care of own litter either home or to recycling. So clean everywhere- it was a real shock returning to England & encountering rubbish again.

Litter is such an easy win for politicians. Keeping our streets clean reduces crime, it also reduces fear & perception of crime, The less litter you see the less is dropped. You have a whole army of litter pickers in our schools and once trained they will never drop litter 1/2

@thecoastguy You really are the most insensitive ignoramus. I used to think you were really intelligent when you worked with the OU on their programmes. What has happened to you? You should apologise to all those who have lost people through this terrible illness.

@BenGrahamUK @Sweetsntreats65 None of these have anything to do with the Easter story. Now there is a place where you can find out about Easter and that is a church. When did you last attend? Congregations are getting smaller so why not help out there instead of trying to cause division here? Not Christian.

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

Dame Jenni Murray, best known for presenting BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour from 1987 to 2020, has sadly died at the age of 75. Mohit Bakaya, Controller, BBC Radio 4 and Director of BBC Speech Audio has paid tribute tribute to Dame Jenni. “Jenni Murray was a formidable voice in British broadcasting who was warm, fearless and beloved by listeners,” he said. “During her decades at Woman’s Hour, she helped shape the national conversation with intelligence, rigour and a remarkable ability to connect with audiences. Jenni leaves an indelible legacy on generations of listeners. “We are profoundly grateful for her outstanding contribution to Radio 4, and she will be deeply missed.”

Impossible to overstate the importance of Jenni Murray to the movement of women that changed our politics, economy & our society; that changed our lives. She was the broadcasting wing of the women’s movement. We all owe her. RIP. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I’ve always been a big Christine de Pizan fan, but I’m writing in her voice (for a new book) & didn’t realise quite what a 14th-century bad ass she is?!? Just reread her section on rape & it hits hard!! She was taking absolutely no prisoners… love that strong women find a way!!

The worrying thing about this country is how childishly celebrity politics has become . The accolades about Hanna Spencer's maiden speech in Parliament, simply because she used Google to list some memorable women on International Women's' Day is dumbfounding ! Dressed like a children's entertainer with a ghastly colour scheme that looks like she can't make her mind up what colour to paint the nursery was just one of her many eclectic outfits she's worn so far . The 80/20 wool mix Axminster carpet she wore as a coat and the borrowed headscarf from Princess Anne so she could get in the foyer of a mosque during her campaigning where some of the highlights of her piercing insight Is she a plumber ? I can only find trace of her installing overpriced heat pumps that can be in your home with 36 crippling installments part of her Green energy initiative. They work just fine as long as you keep your coat on. Indoors during a cold spell Thank God they printed their propaganda in Urdu , a game changer in Gorton. They managed to forget to include the multiple genders, trans stuff like, your uncle Bill is now your aunty Pauline get used to it ! legalising all class A drugs. Diminishing meat consumption, and concentrated on a message of Farage man bad he'll stop your benefits, deport your nanna and healthcare will be a million quid a week! Still congratulations are in order as she did win

@thecarolemalone No they didn’t. There was a public survey last year and a nature theme came out on top at 60%. A democratic vote and a quick bit of research would have revealed that. You call yourself a journalist!

@SuellaBraverman So this has all happened in the last 18 months has it? Or perhaps it was something to do with 14 years of Tory austerity. You really do have an incredible audacity to post about this when your government at the time was responsible for so many cuts.
