@RealDianeYap @SFTruth247 That's not their conception. That's yours. Look at the insanity of your conclusions. "Have you tried SSRIs? They have great side effects like destroying your libido" and you think this is enlightened.

@SFTruth247 Yeah, single men shouldn't get married if their idea of marriage is "subscription to whore"

"You are contractually obligated to sexually desire your husband at a given frequency" sounds completely unenforceable and furthermore, against human nature. People get used to things. Desire fades. Hormone levels change. Better to develop an anti-horniness pill for men.
Pat Stedman | Dating & Relationship Coach for Men@Pat_Stedman

The future of marriage is going to hinge on this part of the contract being honored. It's not just a matter of sexual frequency but quality. Fewer and fewer men are going to accept being desired less by their wives than by other women.

But the clever student realizes that this is fallacious, that the flaw lies with the premise and the logic that followed. Maybe your premise is wrong. Because this doesn't sound better. This sounds bad.

The outcome from the system is what was expected. They would say these changes are making you better ("SSRIs help with your depression! anti-libido pills will help you be non-oppressive in your relationships")

In propositional logic, this thing happens sometimes where you arrive at notable conclusions. Follow enough steps (P implies Q, Q implies R, etc) until you get to predicate X. But X is weird, because it seems to basically be a bunch of things we otherwise/elsewhere find abhorrent
Diane Yap@RealDianeYap

There are a couple of anti-horniness pills with great side effects already: Lexapro and perhaps other SSRIs also help with depression Finasteride also helps with baldness. Any others?

Ppl are saying that this means the sun rises too late, that it means it's still dark when people are having to get to and do things. The two things are relative and subjective. So my proposed solution is to merely have work start at 10am, And you work until 6pm.

This will be such a nightmare.

People act like "we never told people not to have kids" But, yes, you did, by treating it as the "mistake", the "thing that comes later", never talking about it or encouraging it, not making it sound like a blessing to be sought after. They got the message: "don't have kids"
AJAC@AJA_Cortes

Bleak. If you don't raise your children to aspire to be parents, they won't It's a mistaken assumption to assume they'll come around to it. The future belongs to those who believe in their bloodline

@GreeneMan6 There's a reason women's consumption of romantic voyeurism is compared to men's consumption of graphic [euphemism] media and not to watching war documentaries

@GreeneMan6 Ehhh split the difference. The way/reason/effect of how men and women consume media is different. I don't think it's fair to conclude that men must like horrific things they watch just because women consume a certain thing, but also not fair to conclude women would copy it.

@courtneyknill I wouldn't merge, either. But that's why I think the issue is the 7 years part, not the quick pregnancy part. Ironically, more-traditional couples tend to delay pregnancy for this exact reason. They're merging & enjoying their togetherness a bit first, & they hadn't merged yet

@judgementdaze @WanjiruNjoya I'm not sure every people/nation/culture is ready for that. Liberalism came out of Western Europe for a reason.

How about instead of everyone coming to America, they just adopt free markets, private property, and the rule of law, then they’ll have a functioning society all their own!

@JoshuaLisec @raifordpalmer I think most of why they hate it is because of all the feminist influences that convince them to resent their husband and view their children as burdens getting in the way of more narrowly individualistic pursuits.
