That's actually a very interesting idea. Keeping the core bracket structurally clean while adding parallel rivalry layers around it could work really well. 🏆⚡🐸 Especially because some rivalries become culturally important even outside direct elimination paths. Definitely something worth thinking about as the ecosystem evolves.

Currently the opening round is seeded by market cap, then the bracket runs more like a traditional sports tournament where the path ahead is already visible if you keep winning. Part of the fun is the inevitability of certain potential matchups building round by round. 🏆⚡🐸 If communities could choose opponents each round it might start feeling a bit like VAR in football and lose some of the natural bracket rhythm. That said, I do think there is definitely something interesting in community-requested rivalries and matchups longer term.
