—My expectations for the next coach— Year 1: Rebuild. Unlike Kim, who inherited what he himself called a “full cupboard,” the next coach won’t walk into that kind of situation. Kim inherited star players who couldn’t transfer a second time. Year 2: Bubble talk. By then, the roster should be more intentionally built and good enough to push past 20 wins. Year 3: NCAA Tournament berth.

It’s a great day to be a college basketball fan but more importantly, it’s a great day to be a Friar fan.
