@ackero9 This is mostly based on memory, but I recall it worked really well. Layer equal volumes of your heavy and light solutions. Plug tube. Gently tip tube onto its side and let sit overnight. Gently tip back to vertical. Can check with refractometer

@CivilMicro I second Actinomycetes. The last time I tried transferring a Streptomyces isolate into liquid medium, I ended up with something resembling a lava lamp. Pretty wild!
