Spent the day hopping between a handful of uninhabited islands in Lake Michigan shooting photos. We got remarkably blessed with the weather and the smoke cleared more than I could have hoped for and ended up shooting 4 rolls of 35mm and 8 rolls of 120. An unbelievable day far out from the mainland, landing on these little specks of land in the northern part of this freshwater sea, taking beautiful film photos of places not so often photographed well. It was a long day, my head is tired now, and I can’t take anymore photos. But it was an amazing day and I am very excited for this project and the work we accomplished today. I’ve done a variety of gigs and work in my life, but the current iteration of what I do is my favorite and for that I am thankful.
