personal update
I'm joining @OpenAI to work on Codex!
I think there are still a ton of great things to build on both mobile and desktop and there's no better team pushing that frontier than the Codex team.
I'm super humbled and excited to be working with @ajambrosino @Dimillian @pvncher and a lot of other people I can't wait to meet!
Now I just have to figure out how and where to hide the cats

Today we're announcing our Series C funding: $355M at a $4.65B valuation, led by some great investors @generalcatalyst and @Redpoint.
We've had insane growth in the last year, but we're still very early. So proud of the team and what we have built so far!

bitdrift.ai is live! We just made our mobile observability platform accessible to AI agents. 🧵

English

Today, we’re announcing the first release of bitdrift.ai. We’ve been working our way toward this all year, rearchitecting both our underlying client SDKs and our powerful workflow engine, releasing a new public api, and a revamped CLI. This isn’t just some AI lipstick slapped on top of an existing product, but a ground up rethink of what it takes to give AI agents real-time access to millions of connected devices so they can find and resolve issues before users notice them. No sampling, no waiting on multi-day releases.
If you’re building a mobile app, you need to check this out. We’ve already had customers beta test this and 10x their defect fix rate, in less than a week. We’re very excited to see what you can do with this.
Read our blog post for more details, or go directly to bitdrift.ai to learn more and install.

When a sleep app breaks, it's the middle of the night. @hatchforsleep couldn't reproduce many bugs, so investigations stalled.
🔍 With bitdrift, they see what happened on any device:
→ 30-50% faster debugging
→ 2-3 hrs/week saved per QA

My contrarian take is AI won't replace your engineering team and it will likely grow it.
That's been our experience at @Winnie. AI handles more than it ever has in our business, but engineers are doing more, and we ended up wanting more of them. Especially engineers who are AI experts themselves.
I wrote about it for @Forbes! forbes.com/councils/forbe…

The Capture SDK is now running in 1B real-world environments! 🎉
Traditional tools send large volumes of data to centralized systems. Capture stores data on-device, giving mobile teams control over what gets sent and when.
