Most mobile teams log for the crash and stay blind to the jank. Frame drops and silent failures damage ratings quietly. We wrote about which UX signals to log, and how to measure them without shipping a new release: buff.ly/dPYBxPt #MobileEngineering

Zuper went from stitching together crash and analytics tools to full on-device visibility across complex mobile workflows. Now they catch issues before they reach customers. Case study → buff.ly/7oniqez #MobileObservability

@sm You can actually have this tested. Called an MMR titer test. I did it since my original shots were too close together, according to my doctor. Sure enough, had to get a booster. Glad I did.

Asked Codex to learn to do end-to-end macOS app development using screenshots, OSScripts, pynput, etc. After it successfully played with some apps, I now asked it summarize everything it learned along the way to a skill for later use :)

Your app is 99% crash-free. Great… but users happy? Slow checkouts, hanging searches, stuttering playback – p99 issues often invisible to dashboards but obvious in churn. 🔗 Read why crash reporting isn’t enough for mobile: #MobileObservability buff.ly/TPx7JGD

Is OpenTelemetry the foundation for mobile observability? 🤔 Not alone. Mobile has unique constraints. The bitdrift approach: store on-device, retrieve sessions selectively, correlate with backend only when needed. ➡️ buff.ly/Sk28Gxb #OpenTelemetry, #MobileDev

Mobile observability ≠ server observability. It needs a fundamentally different approach. Mobile breaks the assumption these tools rely on: always-on connectivity, streaming data, and cheap bandwidth. 🔍 See what actually works: buff.ly/RnpkWM6 #MobileObservability

DO NOT SLEEP on a walking treadmill desk for meetings. It's an incredible way to get steps in and you will actually pay attention during the meeting because it's impossible to do other stuff at the same time. Pair it with an AI notetaker.
