@miliondouga In Vietnam, he would probably have been beaten up when the police arrested him, perhaps even had two or three black eyes for resisting arrest. 😂
English

@kensolp2e @MaplestoryU @rono_msu Corsair takes longer to reposition his summoned creatures compared to Bucc, and his burst damage over 40 seconds isn't as high as Bucc's. Shad, on the other hand, has good survivability with his smoke bomb effect and a stable, long-term playstyle.
English

My friends and I tested it too, and for long fights
Good hands: Shadower > Corsair >= Bucc
No hands: Bucc > Corsair > Shadower
For 40s, it is different since Corsair and Shad don't have much burst.
Also note that dice's 20-40% dmg isn't reflected in pirates' CP so they seem stronger than Shadower at the same CP but it is not the case.
Either way, v4 Shadower >> Bucc = Corsair, good hands or no hands

Had a pretty good weekend - hit level 250 on my Buccaneer @MaplestoryU and found out Fable's staying in my max plan.
Hope 57F is good enough to stay in top 5!
Buccaneers are decent but really slow at levelling, and sadly less DPM and utility compared to Shadowers.

English

@kensolp2e @MaplestoryU @rono_msu My friends and I tested it, and Bucc dpm was the highest => Corsair => Shadower ^^!
English

@poca_msu @MaplestoryU @rono_msu For now I think
DPM: Shad > Corsair & Bucc
Utility: Shad > Corsair & Bucc
Survivability: Shad > Corsair & Bucc
Levelling: Corsair > Shad >>>>> Bucc🥲
I might be changing to Shad soon too. Easy to team 5 Shad & 1 Bishop
English

@kensolp2e @MaplestoryU @rono_msu Since you can switch from Dex to Strength using skill links instead of having to sell all your equipment, switching to Bucc is more convenient. 😆
English

@poca_msu @MaplestoryU @rono_msu My advice is switch to Shadower instead, can't go wrong with that!😅
English

@PulseMSU @ImanMome29459 Yes, switching to Bucc is easy; just replace your two main and secondary weapons, and use the Link skill to transfer equipment from Dex to Strength.
English

@poca_msu @ImanMome29459 As another sair main im starting to feel like this at 20m cp range i guess its gonna become worde so maybe i switch to bucc/canonner later

🧩 MSU Diary #001
My MapleStory N Journey 🍁
The story of a Corsair who never changed.
When people ask me:
"Why are you still playing MapleStory N?"
My answer is simple:
Because this game became more than just a game.
🧵👇
1/ My Journey Started From The Beta
I first discovered MapleStory N during the early testing phase.
But during the first beta test...
I wasn't lucky enough to get access.
I waited.
And when the second beta arrived,
I finally entered the world of MSU.
That was the moment my journey started.
2/ One Character. One Choice.
My first character was:
🏴☠️ Corsair
And interestingly...
It is still my main character today.
From the beginning until now.
I never changed.
3/ Staying With Corsair Wasn't Always Easy
Over time,
Corsair went through several major changes.
The meta changed.
The competition changed.
The class wasn't always at the top.
Many players switched to stronger choices.
But I stayed.
Because sometimes,
a main character is not only about damage numbers.
It's about the memories you create with it.
4/ Why I Still Love Corsair ❤️
For me,
Corsair represents my entire MSU journey.
Every upgrade.
Every boss fight.
Every improvement.
Every achievement.
They are all connected to this character.
5/ MSU Is Different From Traditional MMORPGs
What attracted me most about MapleStory N
was not only the gameplay.
It was the ecosystem.
The idea that:
🎮 Playing the game
⚒ Enhancing equipment
🛒 Trading in the marketplace
🌎 Participating in the community
are all connected.
6/ The NXPC Ecosystem Changed The Experience
The unique token system,
combined with features like:
🎲 Weekly raffle rewards
🏆 Boss challenges
⚔ Equipment progression
created a different kind of motivation.
Every activity feels meaningful.
7/ More Than A Game
The biggest surprise wasn't the rewards.
It was the people.
During my MSU journey,
I met many amazing players and friends.
People who share the same passion.
People who enjoy exploring this new ecosystem together.
8/ Looking Back
From the second beta test...
to today...
I have experienced:
✅ Different versions of Corsair
✅ Major system changes
✅ New content updates
✅ The growth of MSU
And I'm still here.
9/ My Observation
A great MMORPG isn't only defined by:
How strong your character is.
Or how fast you reach the endgame.
It's defined by:
The memories.
The people.
And the journey.
For me,
that journey is Corsair.
🍁
10/ The Adventure Continues
The 3rd Update is coming.
New bosses.
New equipment.
New regions.
But one thing hasn't changed:
I'm still exploring MapleStory N with my Corsair.
See you in Maple World. 🍁

English

@kensolp2e @MaplestoryU @rono_msu I'm planning to switch from Corsair to Bucc soon, so I'd appreciate any advice ^^!
English

@poca_msu @MaplestoryU @rono_msu oh! 140 equipment CP just understated sadly.
Tahi's bucc has 92m+ CP and also 57F too, not sure if he can 58F due to levels though
English

@kensolp2e @MaplestoryU @rono_msu And he's level 252, 2 levels higher than the boss from floors 55 to 57. 😅
English

@poca_msu @MaplestoryU @rono_msu 's corsair is pretty strong at 85m CP too! I think he did 57F with 40s remaining at 85m before he upgraded to 95+
English

@ImanMome29459 On the other hand, while Bucc with 38 million CP can solo Hard Damien, Corsair with 38 million CP cannot, you'll feel frustrated with your character class due to the game's unbalanced gameplay.
English

@shuirel That's very accurate; what investors need is the intrinsic value that MaplestoyN brings to the game to keep them investing, and if it's appealing, new players will find their way in to make money instead of spending money on marketing. @MaplestoryU

I am a bit worried to share what I have to say as someone who has been selected to be a part of the MSU Curator program… but I think I really need to get this off my chest.
(Not a sponsored post)
As someone who has personally made millions online with digital products and online services in the gaming space, seeing the recent direction that MSU has been headed has been really worrying me.
So I wanted to share some thoughts that hopefully resonates with loyal players, and I hope this reaches the team.
A good business always begins with a good product. If your product is bad, no amount of marketing will help you.
And honestly, I doubt MSU will see any good returns with their current MSU Curator challenge.
Compared to a lot of other Web3 games, a huge competitive advantage MSU had when it launched was the fact that there was already product market fit with MapleStory’s IP.
And what made it extremely appealing and exciting to players was the fact that you could do certain things in MSU that you would never be able to do in regular versions of MapleStory — character transfers, minting NFT items, and dynamic pricing, safe RMT (real money trading) etc.
However, overtime, I feel that MSU has completely lost its focus on investing into the aspects that made the game incredibly appealing in the first place — players can make real money by playing a really fun game.
Instead, the team shifted its focus on MSU2.0 along with its Vibe Camp contest of $60,000.
I understand that this is an ambitious project with long term potential, but I can’t help but feel that the timing of it couldn’t be any worse.
There are still so many fundamental issues with the current game as it is, and players have been begging for certain features to be added and changes to be made, but instead we were given a product that nobody asked for.
AI is obviously a really hot narrative right now, but at the end of the day, the technology isn’t good enough yet where you can just spawn extremely good quality games that people would actually stick around and enjoy playing.
What makes you think that people would want to continue playing AI slop games long term when there are plenty of better games out there?
How can you expect people with very little background or experience behind game development to understand the nuances and psychology of making a really fun game?
I don’t mean to disrespect anyone that participated in the contest and spent a lot of effort into their game, but realistically, not that many people asked for this.
So if this year long wait was to test the theory that vibe coding MapleStory IP web3 games were possible?
Great.
But was this something that the community wanted or asked for?
I don’t think so.
I’m glad that MSU has the infrastructure now built for when AI gets better but we really don’t know how far away we are yet.
Instead, I hope the team can now shift their focus back on creating new features to MSU that would actually make their game/product better and attract far more players.
For example, a rental system is one of those ideas that would only be possible because we are playing a Web3 version of MapleStory.
There is tremendous demand and potential for it, and it will bring in so many new players as it did with games like Axie Infinity (and we can all agree that game is wayyy less developed than Maple).
So please, I implore the team to refocus on making the existing product — that already HAS users — better.
If the Black Mage roadmap gets pushed back, I don’t really care, because if I wanted to play that content, I would just play the regular version.
The majority of the players play MSU because of its Web3 aspects, so the team should prioritize investing into creating more in-game Web3 features that people already want.
And having a great product people love is the best form of marketing you could ever have — players organically sharing the game by word of mouth because of how good it is.

It wasn't perfect, but I parked on 61F !
Micro Tips for
@MaplestoryU Mu Lung Tournament 🍄
1. Use BA(F9) as a timer
Since the cooldown for special nodes like “Fatal Strike” isn't displayed, it's good to use the BA timer to get a rough idea of the cooldown.
2. Sync Burst + Fatal Strike + Buffs
Don't waste your burst and buff skills.
Create your own routine to stay in sync.
3. Node Switching
Just like item switching, Special Nodes can also be switched. I switched to Boss Slayer II while Fatal was on cooldown. (*In the video, check 49F to 50F)
Good luck to all Corsairs 🔫

Finally, I've reached level 250! A new beginning is about to start on July 22nd. Will it be worth spending 10-12 hours a day farming levels? Either way, it's something to look forward to. @MaplestoryU Sitting there counting down the seconds felt like welcoming the New Year.😂
