Chitral is riddled with dozens of forgotten tracks and trails where foreigners used to come to hike in the 70s onwards. A paradise of adventure tourism that has been abandoned for decades.

Collated the numbers for September, and I collected 113 bags, bringing me to 778 for this year. I normally collect 1000 - 1100 a year. I've lost a lot of the summer, and now the weather has turned, and I might fall short. We will see

Trash pickup day 1,896. This was a 30 minute pickup. #EarthCleanUp Cleaned up the north point of Wheeling Island. Only 18 cleanups left here, so it is unlikely I'll visit the same place twice. Might make an exception here, though.

Local Org 'FriendsOfTheRiverfront' organized a kayak cleanup of the Allegheny River today. 9 of us paddled & removed all this trash from roughly 1 mile of riverbank🤦‍♂️ Our team had a barrel of fun, though! (Well, technically two barrels😁)
