@TheGhostOfHope Tbf, you can have a lengthy discussion about how much that was their fault, and how much it was the fault of the beyond ridiculous decision to develop 2 games at once. I'm sure once BO6 was done you immediately had a huge amount of people move to BO7 instead of BO6 support.

Hard cold truth that I’ve said from the get go even though I love BO7. Treyarch largely brought it on themselves. They wasted all that goodwill and hype BO6 had within a month of release.

Something I'd like to see as the game's life cycle comes to a close (along with a Boss Rush mode), is a "Sandbox Mode" that allows you bring along other maps wonder weapons and enemies onto other maps. Like the Necrofluid Gauntlet on Totenreich, or the Jotunn Star on Astra.

@Raragunner @c0dexdata @TheGhostOfHope Been an easy fix for quite literally over a decade, but they just ignore the feedback. Infinity Ward time and time again making Ghost work when you sit still is such an obvious example of a developer wiping their ass with feedback.

The problem is Ghost working while not moving. Ninja should be completely silent too and it’s currently not.

Gotta wonder when they drop Day 1 exclusives from Game Pass for their biggest IP.
By June of next year I wouldn't be surprised if we see Game Pass broken up into a 3rd party only sub, a 1st party only sub, Game Pass Ultimate with both, and an ad supported Ultimate.

The best format possible for COD was the old MLG format in my opinion. 16 partner teams split into 4 groups with 4 open bracket teams qualifying into those groups at each tournament. Take the events on tour 6-8 times a year. That format worked great for a few years and gave opportunity to all.

Imagine a new gated neighborhood. A couple of mansions built in there already, but the rules allow for a few new families to build tiny homes next door and their yards are always trashy. That is not a place you want to invest in and that is currently the state of the CDL it seems.
I’d love to bring Envy/Empire back to COD, but it’s not looking very attractive at the moment. Someone needs to clean that hood up.
