Another rural project slowly but surely going on. In the meanwhile, allocating 3 neurons for some modernist project which I'll never let anyone know I designed.

None of this is new. This is what it was like studying social anthropology at Cambridge in 2010. We were taught the entire discipline was irretrievably racist and “implicated in the colonial project” until the 1970s and 1980s, when Marxists, postmodernists and “subaltern scholars” took an enormous mine to the discipline and blew it sky high. Someone I knew at Cambridge did a PhD on a refugee theatre company in his hometown in Germany. Another studied gay-activist groups in Bologna. The whole discipline is an absolute joke.

Earlier this month, an SOS dropped into my inbox from a Sussex student. She wrote that she was in “a mild state of despair”. In one week alone, she had been told that kinship theory has hitherto been “Eurocentric and cisgendered”, that an anthropology module must be viewed through a “queer and trans” lens, and that “decolonisation” comes up in almost every lecture. I am not surprised. This is the same university that failed to protect Kathleen Stock. And now it seems to be failing students too: by force-feeding them ideologically distorted history and social theory, while leaving them too intimidated to voice reasonable dissent to the very people who mark their work. That is a shameful abuse of academic power. Read more at The Biggar Picture: nigelbiggar.co.uk/p/the-universi…

@dippydappyduck @jimmyjivetone Freedom from slavery IS a political statement and yes, also a system running on slave labor is such. And each and every society will produce a ruling class, deal with it, the problem is not the existance of a ruling class.

@polemicarc @jimmyjivetone Freedom from slavery isn't a "political movement", for that would be enslavement. Karl Marx was an aristocrat working directly and exclusively for the ruling class, and just like the ruling class he hated Jews with venom. Which is why he was a Zionist like his mentor Moses Hess.

@CowboyMaxi The empire creates money from thin air and steals back the "good behaviour" slave-tokens from slaves by taxation, which serves to pay the usury it charges the slaves for its creation of money. Inflation is a direct product of usury.

@wrathofgnon Tradition is a human thing. If we leave it all to machines, it becomes just an old bunch of software instructions.

In 2019 engineers at the Hirasawa Laboratory at Chiba University Graduate School of Engineering created a multitool robot that could successfully cut carve drill chisel all the components necessary to construct a traditional Japanese temple pagoda, reducing the need for human carpenters in traditional temple building by 90%.

@dippydappyduck @jimmyjivetone If every political movement is a ruling class creation, then your political instance of "neutralizing the ruling class" is a ruling class creation, it's basic logic.

@polemicarc @jimmyjivetone "Political movements" only ever exist as ruling-class creations. You can't fight the shark while you're being digested in its belly.

@polemicarc @jimmyjivetone False and strawman. No one spoke of "avoiding". We can however disable the ruling class so it can no longer rule. Every single knowing puppet of the ruling-establishment and above is a Marxist, with exactly zero exception.

@polemicarc @jimmyjivetone No trade is ever free, liberal or democratic under rule. Marxism is a ruling-class doctrine.

@jimmyjivetone The establishment's fake "democracy-capitalism" is a LITE version of the👆above. The only difference is it allows middle class and feigns ownership. Global means of production, including in the fake "democracy-capitalist" countries, is already 99% owned by the establishment.

Keep using your own natural intelligence. AI slop increasingly creeping up with the harmful sludge. Absurd, unbuildable, inefficient and expensive (❤️the trad look, tho) Imagine trusting this trash!

@Ferlusconi3 Per molti funziona e non ha effetti collaterali se non esageri. Per altri non funziona, ma lo vedi dopo un paio d'anni. Se smetti, si rimpiccioliscono e cadono.

I have a deep need in my soul for a boiler room. The place where my father's generation found peace from nagging wife's and annoying children. The heat from the furnace, the smell of wood dust, concrete floor, reading old newspapers one last time before you throw them into the fire.

@JMGregorchuk In Europe this would require extra budget during design (architect/energy calculator) and construction phases (contractor/materials), which would greatly reduce the chances to actually build a real trad building, forcing towards a "fake traditional" aesthetics.

This is wild. 143 million people thought they were catching Pokémon. They were actually building one of the largest real-world visual datasets in AI history. Niantic just disclosed that photos and AR scans collected through Pokémon Go have produced a dataset of over 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation AI for delivery robots. Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, storefronts, parks, and sidewalks from every angle, at every time of day, in lighting and weather conditions that staged photography would never capture. They documented the physical world at a scale no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could have replicated on the same timeline or budget. Niantic collected this systematically, data point by data point, across eight years, while users thought the only thing at stake was catching a rare Charizard. The most valuable AI training datasets in the world aren't being assembled in data centers. They're being built by people who have no idea they're building them.
