I've done 8 month of monk mode. I've come far, but also took some wrong turns wich have cost me much time. My next mid-term goal is to pass a FTMO funded account by the end of June. Till then I am going to review my progress weekly with performance, mental and lifestyle.

April delivered a +10% return, passing an FTMO Step 1 in just 28 days. At the end of March, I blew my $10k account, the first account I passed back in October 2025. Found myself chasing payouts and over risking as i got used to the 100k accounts. A month of discipline has resulted in $10k profit, largely driven by GER40, (Thanks @Albert_618 and the 618ers for your teachings). I’ve been putting in serious work lately, especially on my mental game. It’s good to see that effort starting to pay off.

🌱Weekly Recap 12 I learned a lot this week. Even though I gave a lot back to the market, I still managed to finish the week at +1RR, +12$, +0.12. I started recognizing patterns that lead to bad results. Issues like taking poor setups, fear, and impulsive decisions. Noticing these before they happen is key. Sometimes I didn’t execute trades because of fear. I also placed my SLs lower than usual (FVG cover, OP, etc.). I didn’t take profits because they seemed insignificant — greed. Staring at charts the whole day leads to taking bad setups out of boredom. I learned a lot while still ending the week green, which I’m very happy about. (I also had a mental breakdown at one point.)

Weekly Recap 10 + 11 Why are the weeks combined and still late? I was to lazy to journal. (not JUST lazyness, journal was not working properly) Over the course of these 2 weeks I took around 10 trades wich resulted in a 95$ profit, +0.95%. I left my robotic EDGE behind and started vibing with the market like Albert. I had problems being patient for good setups. I forced some wich brought some losers. But overall I am very happy. Improving every day. This review is very rough, not detailed. Next Week I will go into detail in some stuff. Doing this for me so IDGAF if this review is not that clean.

Different behaviour leads to different outcome. Practice it always. In gym right now: They sit between sets? I stand. They scroll? I type. They drink flavoured water? I drink only pure. And theres way more… Your behaviour defined your future.

🌱Weekly Recap 9 This week, I stepped away from my defined EDGE and started trading based on price action again (together with the DAX Pro). The PnL looks bad, but I feel good. I identified many winning setups and some losing ones. The problem? I executed the losers and missed or faded the winners. I need to figure out the pattern behind why this keeps happening. Why did I drop my defined EDGE? I wasn’t actually reading price action—I was just looking for setups that matched a few checkboxes and taking them. I often had to wait a long time for a setup, which made me take trades out of impatience.

🌱 Weekly Recap 8 I backtested a simplified version of my previous EDGE to fix issues with taking low-quality blocks. I’m currently in a heavy losing streak (7 losses). On Friday, I had a mental breakdown. I took 2 trades this week – both were losses: -$34.14 (-0.34%). One trade made me simplify my EDGE. The other one only partially fit my EDGE. Right now, my EDGE is too focused on the block itself rather than the overall position, which is a major issue. I’ll work on fixing this next week.

[Update] Got stopped out BE. It is a monthly so I could have left it running but I will stick to my execution. I could see it retouching the level now and then move higher.
