@SigmaAldrich Polycarbin would be our low-carbon pipette tips made from recycled lab plastics. But the person writing this would be an old ultra low freezer: bulky, energy intensive, annoying (but less beeping), and can't seem to regulate my own temperature.

@SynBio1 Upgrading fossil fuel dependent single-use lab plastics to products made from circular economy post consumer resin. Extended producer responsibility recycling options are available as well, to keep these valuable plastics in the material stream.

biolabs use a ridiculous amount of plastics. I’m frugal (ie, poor), so I try to reuse and recycle what I can. Deep well plates+troughs are always washed and autoclaved. For plastics that I don’t use much of, like 50mL tubes, I buy from @polycarbin which does tip recycling
