I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games.
Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do.
It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼♀️

I hate how at the doctors office, the nurse sees you first, gets all your concerns and then relays them to the doctor. It’s like whisper down the lane. Let me just tell the doctor directly because I can hear you outside the door doing a terrible job.

@demiurgently I tried to feed my daughter at a pool once using a towel to provide some modicum of cover, but she didn't like that and kept pulling the towel down and randomly WAVING in all directions, drawing even more attention to us. I was extremely exposed 😭

On Thursday, I had to take 3 pregnancy tests (including a blood test) before chemotherapy, which I’ve been getting for 2 months at my cancer center.
It delayed treatment bc the tests kept coming back indeterminate.

@jacobbogage @AmericanAir AA started using a new algorithm maybe 2 years ago now that tries to predict if you'll make your connection or not. It may preemptively bump you from your next flight even if you make it on time. Aggravating when it happens to you.

I just watched the weirdest thing, @AmericanAir.
In Miami, two women arrived for their flight to Boston with plenty of time to spare. They showed the gate agent their boarding pass. The agent bizarrely said the flight was closed, then seated standby passengers.

The smartest doctors in America are actually nephrologists and ID doctors, probably. They essentially take a big $ cut to study complex systems for 2-3 more years; there’s no big pay day at the end, so they’re in it for the love of the game. You can’t tell in other specialties😅

@polyeaster @madnomanattic @Olas_Truth She very well may have been, but it sounds like she would have aborted anyway. So it doesn't need to be sure to get her cancer medication. The effect on the pregnancy doesn't matter because it's not going to be carried to term anyway.
