Whenever I show up to vote, I am the youngest person there by at a minimum two decades. I grow so tired of younger generations bitching and moaning over boomers controlling everything when they won’t put up the most minimum amount of effort to just show up and vote. And yes, voting can change things, especially if you start at a primary level.

@miztrniceguy @kirawontmiss I said the same thing about my Uber this weekend. Driver had to deal with a bunch of blocked roads. It was a cheap $8 ride and I wanted to tip him for the trouble. But their model is for the driver to make a large percentage of their money on tips. Tipping should be for extra.

I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭 They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor. So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better… And this man literally laughed and said: “It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀 BE GLAD IT’S NOT DIRT?? I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job. Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage. Would you push back and demand they resurface the area properly, or am I overreacting?

The key idea the left operates on is that the poor have no agency, basically they are children. If they aren’t fed chicky-nugs and mac and cheese when they demand it, they get cranky and rob a 7/11. Or spray bullets in a public park. If they can’t be given enough for a pair of idiot sneakers, they cannot do anything but a set a women on fire in the F train. Just a natural force like wind, and nothing can be their fault.

@PBritz16 @CoachQ88 Every event where my girls are playing and I get a chance I ask the girls I haven't met if they would rather be able to hit like the boys. Pretty much unanimously the answer is yes. They want to be able to rip shots from distance, have a stick that can play through contact, etc

@pompanoj @CoachQ88 Agree 100%. I have been advocating for years to have them wear helmets and pads and adjust the rules to be more consistent with the men. There are some of the good ole' gals network that would rather the sport be discontinued than modernize it.

Glad the entire lax community got to see how bad women’s lacrosse rules are. It’s like that almost every game. Every ref interprets rules differently and call it different and where. The rule book changes weekly via email. the sport needs to change but somehow keeps getting worse

@CoachQ88 Being the commissioner of an NCAA D2 league that has sponsored WLAX since 2013-14, the people that oversee the rules in that sport have no clue what they are doing. It is always awful and the refs and teams rarely know the rules themselves!

@CoachQ88 Here here!!! Let the women play!! Same equipment, same rules as men. Just like they do in box lax. This game sucks at the college level because of the rules... but is exponentially worse at lower levels because officiating is even more difficult and worse.

Men’s lacrosse won’t have a problem with their rule book today. Everyone watching the game will know what constitutes a foul and what doesn’t
