Absolutely fuming 😡! Thanks to the baggage handlers at Manchester airport for doing this to my cue and case. Guy brings it through at over size baggage and says sorry mate there has been an accident. It must have fallen off the truck and it’s been ran over!

@GWRHelp Revenue protect? 😂 I clearly have a valid train ticket, albeit for the train 20 mins behind. Pay the difference I get but almost £90 to travel just over an hour (off peak) is an absolute piss take!

@poolshark1972 If you are travelling with an invalid ticket you may be asked by revenue protect officers to purchase a new ticket - Kyle

@GWRHelp I don't normally rant but what an absolute rip off, I've accidentally got on an earlier train from Reading to Bristol. I've already paid £36 for my ticket but I've now had to pay another £50.10.

@GWRHelp It's hardly peak restricted at 10am!

@poolshark1972 Hi there, if you have advance single these are non flexible tickets only valid for specific services and sold at a cheaper price for this. If you have boarded a different peak restricted service to your ticket you would be required to pay the difference in order to travel on 1/2

An honest mistake as my connecting train was early. I wouldn't mind but tickets are normally between £30 & £40 not £50. Why couldn't I just pay the difference?
