While everyone is glued to the Trump show, the real news is that in 2027 we are looking at a global average temperature of at least "1.7C, even if the "Super" El Nino turns out to be half-baked." Remember when the world coming together to stop us going over 1.5C by 2030 was world headlines? Avoiding the reality of catastrophic failure does not make it go away - it just makes it worse. Recognising this is the most basic requirement of adult maturity, right? 'Suicide' is part memoir, part political reckoning. You may order here: rev21.earth/product/suicid…
James Edward Hansen@DrJamesEHansen

The Nino index (Nino3.4) has just reached Nino-neutral, but global SST (sea surface temperature) has matched the highest level for this date, which was achieved during the last El Nino. Super warming is clear. Look for a global temperature soon of at least +1.7C, even if the "Super" El Nino turns out to be half-baked. The University of Maine Climate Change Institute has a spectacular interactive graphic that they update daily. It is a valuable research and communications tool. @StevenBagley10 @RogerHallamCS21 Nothing catastrophic happening is caused by anthropogenic global warming, and will only get more severe unless we bankrupt the collective west and turn it into dystopian fascist ghetto states.

There's a consensus on this site that the Covid vaccines "didn't work" Except they did. They saved millions of lives. That's a fact. Whether you choose to believe it or not doesn't change it.

@ChrisGloninger Roughly balanced? All the carbonate in that CaCO3 comes from atmospheric CO2. Annual global neritic CaCO₃ production: Approximately 2.5 gigatons. This comes primarily from the breakdown of coral, shells, and other marine organisms into sand-sized particles.

The "only 3%" argument is a classic misdirection. Natural CO₂ IN and OUT were roughly balanced for millennia. That's why pre-industrial CO₂ held steady at ~280 ppm for thousands of years. Then humans added a NET new source. Your bathtub doesn't overflow because of the water already in it. It overflows because you turned on the tap. The 97% argument answers itself, Professor.
Wide Awake Media@wideawake_media

Geologist Prof. Ian Plimer: "There is no climate emergency... It is a con. It's not underpinned by science." "It has never been proven that human emissions of CO₂ drive global warming." "Only 3% of emissions are from humans, the rest is natural... So if you're to prove that humans, and their emissions of the the gas of life, change climate, then you also have to prove that the natural emissions—97% of all emissions—don't change climate." "That has never been addressed."

Why did Israel unleash lightning strikes on over 100 Hezbollah targets across Lebanon? As per reports, Hezbollah was seconds away from toppling the Lebanese government, and the moment Israel got word of the coup plot, they didn’t blink, they unleashed precision strikes, and neutralized the threat, all within 10 minutes. Lebanon was heading toward collapse, and Israel didn’t wait for permission or apologies. They stepped in and saved the country from becoming a full Iranian proxy nightmare.

75% of Democrat voters apparently believe that there was a genocide in Gaza. But there wasn’t a genocide in Gaza. So you have a large segment of the population believing an insane conspiracy theory. What happens when a society completely disconnects itself from reality?

This is what a modern extreme looks like. March 2026: 🔥 10 states — warmest ever 🔥 23 states — top 5 🔥 35 states — top 10 National anomaly: 9.4°F above 20th C. average Some states ran nearly 14°F above normal. Totally normal, totally random, and definitely not part of a trend 🙄

@nicolasfulghum If we reached the goals of Paris, which we certainly wont, the temperature at the end of the century would be lowered by 1°C according to the climate models which are the only basis for the predictions of a climate crisis.

Our Post-Truth Climate Correspondent reports: A paper published on Zenodo (no peer review) argues that the entire edifice of climate policy rests on a fiction: global mean surface temperature does not exist. The argument, attributed to an author from MIT, draws on thermodynamics and mathematics to claim that averaging temperatures across the planet produces a physically meaningless number. Trillions of dollars, the Paris Agreement, the 1.5°C threshold… all built on a concept that "is not merely imprecise or approximate" but "mathematically and physically meaningless." The references are... unusual. Alongside the IPCC glossary and Hansen's 1987 paper, the author cites conversations with Claude Sonnet 4, Grok 3, and DeepSeek. Multiple entries under "Cohler J" link to X posts where various AIs apparently "call out IPCC FRAUD." One reference is to "Grok Thinks," a Substack. This is, charitably, a novel approach to citation. Rather than peer review, we have AI chatbots agreeing with the author's premise, then being cited as authorities confirming their own agreement. A closed loop of validation, untouched by inconvenient external evidence. The core thermodynamic argument—that a global average temperature is a statistical construct, not a physical object—is technically true in the same way that "average household income" doesn't exist as a physical object. It's a metric, a tool for tracking change over time. The question is whether it's a useful metric. Thousands of peer-reviewed papers, multiple independent temperature reconstructions, and every major scientific academy on Earth say yes. But the paper's real purpose emerges in its framing: Orwell, "politically convenient fiction," "the greatest mass delusion in scientific history." This isn't a thermodynamic critique. It's a permission structure for dismissal. If the number doesn't "exist," you don't have to worry about what it's doing. zenodo.org/records/182567…

The propaganda machine is out in full force, trying to rewrite history. Here’s what actually happened: Trump killed Iran’s leadership, deleted their Air Force and Navy, then gave them a deadline to capitulate, otherwise he would blast them to the Stone Age… And they folded. Under no circumstances did Trump lose in any capacity. Trump just wiped out Iran’s military capabilities, without putting boots on the ground, made them cry uncle, and forced them to stop sabotaging global oil markets, while they finish negotiating their surrender. Trump just pulled off one of the greatest negotiation moves of all time, and the result should be a unanimously celebrated, regardless of what side of the aisle you are on. However, the Left/MSM will take part in any level of metal gymnastics to avoid admitting this. They will lie, make excuses, and repeat talking points until they are blue in the face, but no matter how much they try to spin it, this is objectively a massive victory for Trump, and the world, and they know it.

To the "clot" shot morons. Please turn off your idiotic X feeds and leave medicine to the professionals. Stop your ad hominem wild accusations about being bought by Pharma. If you don't want vaccinations, fine. But stop impuning the reputations of people and science you know nothing about. You long since grown boring and tiresome.

Study shows COVID vaccines decreased heart attacks and strokes. A sweeping analysis of nearly 46 million adult health records has delivered a clear verdict: COVID-19 vaccination sharply lowers the risk of heart attacks and strokes, directly refuting persistent claims to the contrary. Published in Nature Communications, the study followed people across England from December 2020 through January 2022. It documented a 10% drop in serious arterial blood clots (including heart attacks and strokes) after the first dose alone. Protection strengthened further with subsequent doses: a 20% reduction among those fully vaccinated with Pfizer/BioNTech and a striking 27% reduction for AstraZeneca recipients. The researchers were upfront about rare side effects—myocarditis and certain clotting disorders—that can occur shortly after vaccination, but stressed these remain exceptionally uncommon. By comparison, catching COVID-19 itself dramatically raised the odds of major cardiovascular events. Lead co-author Dr. Samantha Ip described the results as some of the strongest evidence yet that the vaccines do more than prevent severe infection: they also confer lasting protection against two of the world’s leading killers. [Ip, S., North, TL., Torabi, F. et al. Cohort study of cardiovascular safety of different COVID-19 vaccination doses among 46 million adults in England. Cute cartoon. Now do the one where fossil fuel companies are sitting on $1 TRILLION in stranded assets that become worthless if the science holds up. Climate scientists aren't paid to lie. They're paid about $80K/yr. Fossil fuel companies spend BILLIONS to make you believe this cartoon instead of the physics.
