I work on the JAX team. If you're new to the field ignore this bait. The things you should focus on are understanding the math and how to program accelerators - really master your hardware and your methods. We try to make a great tool but don't obsess over tools early.

When looking at deep learning profiles, one of the most obvious tells between a mediocre and great candidate is whether they list PyTorch or JAX.

Everyone says neural network is a black box and most of us treat as it is. But, I could not treat it as black box because I've been trained to reason about everything.
Here is my new article, where I uncovered the black box for a small setup poonai.xyz/interpretabili…

I accepted the Anthropic kernel optimization problem and wrote a blog about it. Read the blog to learn about, modern optimization techniques and the reflection on my self worth😬
Spoiler: Claude performed better than me.

@VedicWisdom1 It’s not essential that monk takes vedas as authority. A seeker can in his own path.

Meat is strictly prohibited for Brahmacharis and Sanyasis in Shastras.
Meat does not come under pure foods which is important for Shaucha and affects medha Buddhi which hinders spiritual progress.

If this video of Ramakrishna Mission monks having non-veg food disturbs you, then you know NOTHING about Bharat’s many Hindu traditions. And you have a closed mind.

After a lot of work, my first technical blog is live!
Here I wrote about its core principles (the 5 pillars) and included a practical, hands-on guide for creating your first EC2 instance on AWS.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

a new TEE blockchain exploit just dropped. surprise!
next time someone tells you a TEE can be used in web3 use cases to ensure integrity or honesty of nodes, send them this post.
TEEs are web2 tech. cryptography is web3.
here’s some notes showing how messy this gets:
voltpillager: hardware undervolting attacks on intel sgx with a $30 tool: zt-chen.github.io/voltpillager/
glitching the amd secure processor: github.com/PSPReverse/amd…
older tea stains / past scandals:
from today: arstechnica.com/security/2025/…
sgx fail: sgx.fail
badram: badram.eu
in short, past tee disasters: foreshadow (2018 speculative-exec leaks), voltpillager (2021 $30 undervolting sgx break), secret network (2022 research showed extracting the sgx consensus seed lets you decrypt past private txs), badram / sev glitches (2024 cheap memory-aliasing attacks on amd), battering-ram & wiretap (2025 cheap interposer attacks against ddr4 sgx/sev-snp).
yet people still have the audacity to call TEEs “the future.” they are not, and saying this is hurting our industry.

@poonai_ Yeah, it's simple like Go. You have choice of memory allocators, which is unique. You can write your own allocator and hand it over to Zig to use, that's powerful.
And it works really well with C code, so you can just import C packages and run via Zig, with zero overhead.
