If this goes into effect it will directly harm my business. It could cause us to either not have the resources to hire more people or, god forbid, do layoffs. This would not only make it more complicated to get paid, but take away dollars we need to function. And for what?

From 2027 Roblox is going to be taking a cut from all brand integrations inside games. Currently a brand can work directly with developers, meaning developers take the full fee, from 2027 Roblox will be charging developers for having brands inside their games.

Roblox is insane and this is incredibly damaging. Imagine a world that YouTube or TikTok wanted a fee for every single brand collab a creator did? This is from one stand point only. Greed.

For those that want to understand quickly, essentially this is coming from a greed standpoint point. It’s a short term vision from @Roblox which ultimately will drive brands away. Yes, we may not like ads as players, but that revenue is integral for the platform to continue to grow - we are, yet again, seeing a ridiculous decision from Roblox HQ.
