From working alongside her dad on their fourth-generation farm and ranch, Leffler Farms, Inc. in Americus, Kansas, to raising cattle and growing corn, soybeans and wheat, Jacquelyn’s roots in agriculture run deep. She bridges the gap between farmers and consumers while serving her community both in the field and as a leader with local, state and national ag organizations. In this #YearoftheWomanFarmer, we celebrate Jacquelyne and all women who have a role in the industry. As she says: “Throughout history, women have always been in the field and in the barn—and now we are at the table. We are equal partners, owners and doers in the industry. If you ask me to personally speak on behalf of agriculture, I don’t do it as a woman; I do it as a farmer, rancher, wife, mother, daughter and sister. We are so much more than what the world sees.”
