The New York Times report on the rescued US airman falsely implies local Iranians aided him.
I asked Julian Barnes, co-author of the report, what the evidence was for this. His Response: 'Oh, Iranians didn't assist the airman. This was speculation "from our Iran experts."
(The article never clarifies that this was pure speculation, without any evidence; it has not been edited to indicate that in Barnes's own assessment the airman was not assisted by local Iranians; and it is being used to manufacture consent for this war, based on the conspiracy theory that 'Iranians want this.' Do better, @nytimes. Very disappointing.)

E’ da tempo che silenzio chiunque fa un tweet con un link e non lo inserisce nel primo tweet per poi farlo seguire da un tweet col solo link . Lo so silenzio potenzialmente anche qualcosa che merita ma se na cosa è na cazzata e’ na cazzata .

@MyLordBebo The overall debris field (scattered over hundreds of meters, shredded metal, no central blast crater) still screams "hit in flight and crashed," not "landed then blown up.

@MyLordBebo Different propeller damage is completely normal in a high-speed crash — the plane hits at an angle, engines spin at different RPMs, and impact forces are never symmetrical.

@MyLordBebo No central blast crater or concentrated wreckage you'd expect from demolition on the ground. Looks like a high-speed crash, not a controlled destruction of a landed plane.
