"In 1827, a British soldier named James Lewis deserted the East India Company, changed his name to Charles Masson, and disappeared into the vast expanse of Afghanistan and Punjab. What happened next would change history. While evading capture, Masson discovered the ruins of Harappa in Punjab - remnants of a civilization that would prove to be as old as ancient Egypt. But his remarkable find was initially dismissed, with some scholars incorrectly linking the site to Alexander the Great's campaigns. It wasn't until the 1920s that archaeologists finally recognized the true significance of Masson's discovery. The ruins were part of the Indus Valley Civilization, a sophisticated urban culture that flourished between 3300-1300 BCE and spanned an incredible 1.3 million square kilometers. Masson's contributions went far beyond just discovering Harappa. He meticulously documented the site, collected ancient coins, and helped decode the mysterious Kharoshthi script. Later pardoned by the East India Company, he provided valuable intelligence about the regions he had explored. Today, the Indus Valley Civilization is recognized as one of the world's earliest urban cultures, rivaling ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia in its sophistication and scale. All because a deserter on the run had the curiosity to investigate some mysterious ruins. There is precisely zero evidence - presented, verified, vetted - that Elon Musk and DOGE have found any fraud whatsoever or "cut" so much as $1 of actual savings. Let alone any cuts that would pass legal muster.

The Vice President of El Salvador has told US Senator Van Hollen that the reason they are still holding Kilmar Abrego Garcia is due to the Trump regime paying them to do so. Trump needs to be arrested and brought up on human trafficking charges.

I’m about to board my flight to El Salvador, where I hope to meet with senior government officials to discuss the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. I also hope to see Kilmar and check on his condition — and remind him that we won’t stop fighting until he’s home.

No, not Democrats being “bused in”—just regular Nebraskans waking up to the fact that their Social Security is on the chopping block to fund tax cuts for billionaires. Great piece by PBS.

Pay attention: Look the injuries on Amazon warehouse floors — look at Amazon’s contributions to the president — and then look who has been nominated to head the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

India sent over 2.5 million soldiers to fight under British command against the Axis Powers, with over 87,000 of them perishing in the war effort. Field Marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck once admitted, “Britain couldn’t have made it through both World Wars without the Indian Army.”

COMMENTARY: FEMA's administrator, a longtime Coloradan, is being attacked as a "DEI hire" because she's a woman. Here's how we straight white guys, regardless of politics, should respond to that trendy slur.
