After working as a marriage and family therapist, I've noticed trends among adults, children, and family dynamics. Here's what I've observed: Most people are overwhelmed and controlled by their emotions. The worst part? They are blaming other people for it.

Rare Footage - Mothership Orb Releases Fleet of UFOS! I recorded this footage at my home in Long Beach on October 21, 2017. While I was in the backyard skywatching and doing some yard work, I noticed a massive object appear in the sky. It looked almost like a large portal opening overhead. Moments later, the object began releasing dozens of smaller orbs—more than 50 of them—that moved into the lower atmosphere. Interestingly, the smaller orbs were only visible through my infrared camera, which allowed me to capture what was happening. This remains the best recording I’ve ever taken, and the moment felt truly special to witness. At the time, I had just moved into the house with my now-wife, Mallory, and was learning how to settle into adult life. Experiencing something so unusual on that day made it a moment I’ll never forget. 👽💚

Talarico: I am tired of being pitted against my neighbor. I'm tired of being told to hate my neighbor. It's been more than ten years of this kind of politics. Politics as bloodsport, politics as trolling and owning politics as total war. It tears families apart. It ends friendships, and it leaves us all feeling terrible all the time.  We cannot defeat the politics of division with more division. We can't win their game. We have to change the game. This campaign is rooted in a fierce love for this state, for this country, and most importantly, for all of our neighbors.

I told my therapist, "I have everything I thought I wanted, but I still don't feel happy." She didn't give me comfort. Hearing her, my whole body went still. Here's what she just replied:

@KenOno691 Never automate anything that builds character traits such as resilience, innovation, emotional intelligence, etc. Aside from that, I am very excited to see the developments that will come from the changing work and education landscapes with increased AI use. It’s so exciting!

I’m Ken Ono. After a long stretch in university administration, I made a personal pivot: back to math, back to education, and into the AI moment with a lot of hope (and a lot of care). If AI is going to matter, it should give humans time back for the parts of learning that are deeply human. More in thread 👇

Reporter: James Talarico just stood outside Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office to unveil his anti-corruption agenda. His plan includes getting big money out of politics, banning congressional stock trading, banning partisan gerrymandering nationwide, and establishing term limits for all members of Congress and Supreme Court justices. Talarico would also require members of Congress to hold annual town halls to ensure that those who are holding office are listening to their constituents.

I’m convinced that @jamestalarico has the right temperament to do three things: 1) Help heal the divide between left and right 2) Push back against the moral and spiritual rot taking hold in parts of American Christianity 3) Undermine and expose Christian nationalism for what it is: deeply un-Christian Even some of my MAGA friends and family have told me they respect what he stands for and think he’s a genuinely good person.

🚨 GEN Z IS PUTTING THEMSELVES IN “TIMEOUT” - AND CALLING IT HEALING No phone. No TV. No music. No food. Just silence. They’re calling it “raw dogging boredom.” 15 minutes of sitting completely still with zero distractions. Some say it’s weird. Others say it’s genius. Is this the dumbest trend yet or the smartest thing we’ve seen in years?

@BoLoudon Iron Age mythological commandments are unnecessary to be loyal to a partner that you love. Empathy, vicarious understanding, an appreciation of what it is to suffer, and aversion to inequity are the things which are required to be a moral and virtuous person.

The fact this post even exists is sad. We don’t need any more wars. Tact and diplomacy are not “dumb” skills. We teach children how to use coping skills and learn emotional regulation, and then when they become adults they’re supposed to get on board with going to war and achieving “peace through strength”? No wonder we have the most anxious, medicated youth this country has ever seen.

Technical founders had a 20-year head start. AI just eliminated it. Writers, artists, and creators now have the edge. Two years ago, you needed coding skills to build an app. You needed design skills to create a website. You needed data skills to analyze the market. Today? You just need to know how to talk. I've watched AI completely flip the script on who can build a successful tech business. The writer who couldn't code? She just launched an app. The photographer with no tech background? Running an AI-powered SaaS. The fitness coach who "isn't technical"? His AI tool has 50,000 users. Here's what AI eliminates for non-technical founders: 1. The technical co-founder search No more giving away 50% of your company to someone who can code. AI can build the V1 of your product while you validate the market. 2. The expensive development costs Custom apps used to cost $50,000+ to build. Now you can create functional prototypes for under $1,000. 3. The technical learning curve Instead of spending 6 months learning to code, spend 2 weeks learning prompt engineering. The ROI difference is astronomical. 4. The "technical confidence gap" Non-technical founders used to get destroyed in investor meetings. Now your AI knowledge puts you ahead of most technical founders. 5. The execution timeline What took 12 months now takes 2 weeks. You can test 10 ideas in the time it used to take to build one. This opportunity won't last forever. Soon, everyone will understand how to leverage these tools. The temporary advantage will disappear. But right now? The creators, the artists, the writers, the speakers, the coaches? You have the unfair advantage. You understand people. You understand communication. You understand what makes things resonate. Those skills combined with AI are more valuable than a CS degree. The best businesses aren't built by technical people. They're built by people who understand problems. And AI just removed your biggest barrier to solving them. Come to my free AI masterclass and I'll show you how to leverage AI to start your business FAST – even if you’re not a “techie”: buff.ly/lOmCZce

@AliciaResnicoff @elonmusk Exactly. Why this is being deemed inappropriate is beyond me. To imply avg federal employees are making millions per year is false. Instead, it’s being fiscally responsible, which is the whole point right? To manage our finances efficiently so we don’t need government handouts.

@elonmusk If you have steadily saved for retirement through the govt TSP plan, have a working spouse and own a home, this is completely achievable. In fact it is a must in case you need nursing home care and don’t want to end up on Medicaid.

Federal government agencies are using, on average, just 12% of the space in their DC headquarters. The Department of Agriculture, with space for more than 7,400 people, averaged 456 workers each day (6% occupancy). Why are American taxpayer dollars being spent to maintain empty buildings?
