@positype @glyphsapp Good to hear. Maybe I can let go too... What about "half-dead" curves? Officially they're bézier–non-grata, but I love them, and hate having to add the "missing" handle before output. Like when I'm using a hose I don't need to be at the other end telling the water how to land!

@hhpapazian @glyphsapp Again, what honestly throws me for a curve (excuse the pun) is that change in start node with the OTF. Shauna produced the image & surely just opened the OTF and cranked out a graphic with a plugin, so that's not the culprit I suppose… now I'll have to deep dive out of curiosity

@hhpapazian @glyphsapp As you can see, the clearly tight stroke established in the intersection need inflection points to guarantee fidelity. What I find more concerning is how the start position changed between the development file and the OTF used for the little social media graphic, tbh ;-)

@hhpapazian Actually, a well-drawn inflection that takes into account the positional movement of the curve (& it's possible fluidity in mass between masters), just needs to be tested thoroughly through interpolation. Extra points can disrupt a smooth curve more. Besides, I trust @glyphsapp
