Royal Mail delays caused real harm — from missed NHS appointments to late‑payment penalties. Recruitment alone won’t fix it. Today I pressed @RoyalMail to work with the CWU to end unfair two‑tier contracts. Our communities and our posties deserve better.

Today I spoke in the Westminster Hall debate on behalf of @CWUnews posties in Dagenham & Rainham. Royal Mail bosses are orchestrating a managed decline of a vital British institution and enough is enough. 📮🌹

Thanks to the folks who have raised issues with Royal Mail with me. I was down at the sorting office in Knutton today and had the chance to put those concerns to the RM management team. AND - as ever - it was great to see some of our brilliant posties, including mine!

Before Christmas I raised the poor performance of @RoyalMail in Blaenau Gwent and Rhymney. Despite our excellent posties, I'm still receiving reports of delayed mail, leading to missed appointments and worse. I'm asking again for @Ofcom to hold Royal Mail to account.
