in honor of today being Friday the 13th, here’s a cursed Apple fun fact! while Apple never used a micro usb port on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, there are actually TWO Apple products that had a micro usb port: the Apple TV 2nd Gen and Apple TV 3rd Gen. released in 2010 and 2012 respectively, these two Apple TV models had a micro usb port on the back, specifically for service and diagnostics- like restoring your Apple TV in case of a corrupted operating system. the next Apple TV (the Apple TV HD) came out in 2015 and used a USB-C port for service instead!

@cybrtrkguy Honestly this is the thing many want and would love. A Pro with Thunderbolt into a thunderbolt dock running full macos would be such a wonderful addition.

Wait a damn minute... If MacOS runs on the A18 Pro (last year's iPhone chip), what's stopping Apple from creating a dock to make your iPhone into your Desktop? Samsung and HP tried this a decade ago, and it never caught on.
