Given original Punks contract doesn't contain the individual punk images (just a hash of the 100x100 grid, punks.png), my punk token #7741 could in theory correspond to a variety of different punks! Let's play it out...🧵👇

chiming in — @ittybits_eth explored something very similar... each ittybit lives fully on Ethereum: 10k individual txs, with the artwork embedded directly in calldata identity is content-addressed — each ittybit is tied to its own sha256 hash (last 4 characters map to its ID + corresponding punk) Bonus: Every ittybit’s lower-right pixel is a hex signature matching their ID #. e.g. ittybit #8348’s final pixel is hex value #008348 – with an alpha value of 1 (basically invisible – but still there in the data). This is notable, as the image itself is self-referential - the on-chain pixel data alone contains the data necessary to identify the ittybit.

I'm one of the buyers. Hate to cut it to you, but Punks are not onchain. The 10,000 Punk image hash is saved within the contract's storage. Individual Punks only make reference to coordinates within that image. The reason Punks are Punks is not because they are onchain, it's because of how innovative the smart contract marketplace and concept of collecting pfps via token ids was at the time.

Get ready middle class, Olympia is coming for you! Rejected Amendments: Legislators voted down multiple amendments that would have strictly locked the tax to millionaires exclusively. Middle class taxpayers are going to get bent! Funding and Intent: There are claims that the revenue will fund programs like free school lunches or small business relief. However, these are based on "intent language" rather than legal requirements. School meal programs likely won't see a dime - guaranteed. Lack of Legal Binding: Because legislators rejected amendments to legally tie the revenue to specific programs, there is no legal obligation for the money to be spent on the intended causes mentioned in the messaging. The net/net: the money will be used to fund the bureaucracy. Guaranteed.

We've reached the end of session, and the Millionaires' Tax has passed. With it, we have the biggest small business tax cut in state history, 460,000 additional working families receiving checks from the Working Families Tax Credit, and free school meals for all Washington kids.
