@usanewshq Skims makes around a billion dollar ($1,000,000,000) in sales a year, I think it does fine without smuggling cocaine. (From a former skims corporate employee that hates the company btw)

In some very real sense, Ozempic was invented in 1990. Pfizer ran the human trials and just never published them.
They showed it lowered blood glucose in diabetics, slowed gastric emptying, and killed hunger; the same 3 things that make Ozempic work today.
The joint venture agreement said internal data stayed internal, and that was that. Pfizer killed the program in 1991. The reasoning, as far as I can tell, was that nobody would ever want an injectable diabetes drug besides insulin.
So, the license went back to the hospital in Boston that held the patents.
Novo picked it up in 1992 and spent the next two decades building liraglutide, then semaglutide.
It's insane that data sat in a filing cabinet for 30+ years.
I only know this because Jeffrey Flier, one of the Harvard scientists in the room, finally wrote it up. He's in his late 70s and didn't want the history to die with him.
This makes you wonder what else is in those filing cabinets.
Ozempic could've existed 27 years ago.

@ClownWorld Had this guy rear ended me and totalled my Porsche, he got off the car and started yelling at me for 30 mins, once the police showed up he changed his attitude 180 and pretended he was injured and got on an ambulance and now he is sueing me for body injury. Welcome to America 🇺🇸

Woman rear-ends a guy in her Mercedes (her front end is wrecked)
Then she completely loses it, screams “you’re a weird dude,” “I need a man here,” repeatedly yells “you’re going to jail,” and starts hitting him while smacking his phone
She caused the accident and assaults the guy… but he’s the one going to jail?
Clown World never disappoints 🤡🌎

second week on retatrutide (1mg) feeling absolutely the worst I’ve ever felt. Base resting heart rate went from 50ish to 60+, couldn’t sleep at night been sleeping on average of 6 hours a night vs 7-8 usually. Mild nauseous & fatigue can still function pretty normally but just feels tired all the time. at this point will just stop it bc it’s simply not it for me.

Important to note that this is on Holloway Dr, on the same street as Holloway House (or Soho House Holloway, whatever the official name is now) and is right next to Barney’s Beanery. This corridor is going to become one of the cool person destinations / completely insufferable / must visit if from out of town / influencer destinations in LA. Another pink wall, if you will.
The street is also a staging site of sorts for delivery robots so yeah… lots happening!

🚨OZEMPIC IS MAKING PEOPLE FALL OUT OF LOVE — AND NOW RELATIONSHIPS ARE COLLAPSING
A doctor tied to Johns Hopkins and the NIH just went on camera and dropped something no one’s talking about.
Not the weight loss.
Not the appetite.
The person.
Thousands on Ozempic and Wegovy are reporting the same pattern:
• Food doesn’t hit the same
• Hobbies feel empty
• Even people they once loved… feel different
And it’s not subtle.
Therapists are now seeing couples where one partner says:
“I feel like I’m living with a completely different person.”
Less emotion.
Less connection.
Less interest in intimacy.
Researchers already know GLP-1 receptors aren’t just in the gut…
They’re in the brain areas tied to reward, motivation, and bonding.
Meaning this isn’t just shrinking waistlines.
It may be quieting the entire reward system across everything.
Food. Pleasure. Attachment.
All of it.
Some users aren’t just losing weight… they’re losing the emotional intensity that made them who they were.
Same body.
Different person.
Are these drugs fixing health… or quietly rewiring what we feel?
And if the “reward system” gets turned down across the board… what happens to love?

Wegovy pill performs signifikant better than my post from last Friday
Below article is data from Symphony released last Friday morning. Distribution between the different doses and what ASP wegovy pill have.
Symphony data had overall negative growth by 1.5% and also a drop in the two low start doses.
IQVIA paint a completely other picture.
Total TRx up by 8.1%. And all doses reached new record level.
I do only have a chart, and thereby not specific numbers for the different doses.
But more than 60.000 consumers at 1.5mg wegovy pill start dose. That's more than 5,000 higher than those on Zepbound single use pens.
Theres 347,000 on Zepbound single use pens, vs 135,000 on Wegovy pill. And yet there's more on wegovy pill start dose.......
