@CoachThisath You'll always say no to something when you have something more important to say yes to.
This article does an awesome job explaining that!!

@creation247 How can we each do our part to bring back this golden era of a society?

@allegiantfaith Philosophy goes hand in hand with science. Some of our greatest scientists were some of our greatest philosophers.

@Music_Goddesss Times of old contain some of humanity's greatest pieces of art. I wonder if our times can compare?

@ChrisAntonelli Iron sharpens iron! Community is the reason why humanity is where it's at today.

@DroneDrifterX2 The more power that is removed from the people, the more that the demand for change will increase.

Banking centralization mirrors religious institutionalization. Both began with good intentions. Both eventually separated people from direct participation. Both need reformation.
The next era should restore direct connection: peer-to-peer value, peer-to-peer meaning, fewer intermediaries, more responsibility.
English

@DaveLovesMovies The simplicity of life's experiences of the past seem magical. How can we replicate that today?
English

@Music_Goddesss Exactly! All it takes is one good decision... and compounding does the rest.
English

@povpeterle It has to be internal to external. Once you make a decision for 10 minutes, it grows from there.

If you don't have time to exercise every day, read this:
Every client I've worked with, whether they're a CEO or stay-at-home mom, has told me the same thing:
"I don't have time to exercise."
And my honest response every time is:
"You're completely right. You don't have time."
Because the truth is, when you believe you don't have time to workout, your actions will reflect that.
Think about it. If you weren't religious, would you go to church? Exactly.
Your beliefs will manifest through your actions.
But there's a simple solution for this.
Reframe and rewire your beliefs.
Instead of thinking, "I don't have time to workout..."
Flip it to: "I'm going to find the time to workout, even if it's 45, 30, 20, or even 10 minutes."
Because if you make excuses, you get to keep them.
And they will benefit nobody—especially not yourself.
And yes, you can still get awesome results with a killer 10 minute workout.
Here's an sample program in case you wanted one:
Instructions: Do each exercise below for 30 seconds, max intensity. Rest 30 seconds between each exercise. Repeat for two rounds.
Pushups
Split Squats
High Knees
Chair Tricep Dips
Chair Squats
The beautiful thing?
Once you become aware of your limiting beliefs and learn to flip them, you can apply this to every area of your life.
"I don't have the patience" turns into "I am a very patient person."
"Meal prep is boring and bland" turns into "My meal prep has lots of variety and is delicious."
" It's okay if I eat that one cookie" turns into "I am a healthy person who never gives into cravings, no matter how big or small."
And that's the game.
Build awareness -> Reframe your beliefs -> Take action based on those beliefs -> Results.
This is the secret to building a healthy lifestyle.
It's building a new, healthy identity: You 2.0.
✍🏼 How are you going to find time to exercise this week?

@povpeterle God had a plan, and you had an interesting way of getting there. My dad was in Amway and drove us all nuts.

@creation247 Phones, porn, politics, video games, etc…
Vices that prevent us from exploring what life has to offer.
They steal our attention away from what matters most.

@povpeterle How did you go from being a personal trainer to managing a hedge fund? That's interesting
English

@povpeterle Since the last time you posted, I lost 30+ lbs of fat, went through immense personal growth over September-November especially, further optimized my biochemistry, and started making music as my #1 edge rn
Some things that weren't on my bucket list either ;)
