@CNBCTV18News@sama@OpenAI@ShereenBhan#AskSam What decision are you making today at OpenAI that most people won’t understand for five years — but will ultimately matter the most?
Egor Demin’s Dad was interviewed during the draft process and gave an insightful answer about his shot concerns

NEW: Scientists have brought back dire wolves using ancient DNA, with the first born on October 1, 2024, over 10,000 years after their extinction
The genome was reconstructed by Colossal from ancient DNA found in fossils
The fossils date back 11,500 and 72,000 years
Colossal Biosciences said: "This moment marks not only a milestone for us as a company but also a leap forward for science, conservation, and humanity. From the beginning, our goal has been clear:
To revolutionize history and be the first company to use CRISPR technology successfully in the de-extinction of previously lost species.
By achieving this, we continue to push forward our broader mission on—accepting humanity’s duty to restore Earth to a healthier state."
@cdr_fyi One single deal dominates this dataset - @microsoft pre-purchasing 2.7 MTCO2 of removal from @Orsted. BECCS = growing trees, cutting them down, burning them for power, and then using point-source carbon capture and storage to seize the emissions before they're vented into the sky
There's *a lot* running on carbon removal success - a massive amount of removal has been 'pre-purchased' by a range of customers, and a relatively small amount has been actually captured.

I try to show up every day because I genuinely want to help people discover the power of investing.
But today, I have no energy and nothing to give.
My wife Sarah discovered a small painful lump in her breast and as much as I want to stay positive, it's just so damn hard right now.
Her mom overcame breast cancer in 2019. My dad passed from cancer last year.
We have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked out and we're praying for the best but damn, this is tough.
She's handling it better than I am right now and I get that this is a selfish thought but man, I'd be devastated if something happened to her.
The thought of having to tell our kids that mommy is sick and them having to watch her go through treatment just crushes me.
I shared her name above because I believe in the power of prayer. So selfishly, if you could pray for her, I would be grateful.
Hosting a workshop at Stanford Hydrogen Initiative and Open Hydrogen Initiative's, "The Future of Hydrogen Markets Workshop". My team will particularly be delving into how the U.S. Department of Treasury could dictate what hydrogen generation would qualify for 45V tax credit
(1/7) Hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) are the only credible options for new aviation fuels in foreseeable future. SAFs are a drop-in replacement for fossil-based jet fuel, but will *always* be 3-4X more expensive than green liquid hydrogen.
How much carbon could nature restoration remove from the atmosphere?
In a new paper led by @katedooley0, we provide a new quantification.

Plus, Monolith CEO Rob Hanson joins the conversation to explain the methane pyrolysis technology and talks about why gov't support is needed to prove commercial viability. A very good listen.
