If this translation is right, the German health minister is incredibly misinformed about covid science. 1. Prof. John Ioannidis is not "worn out" and is among the most highly published/cited scientists on covid 2. Ioannidis did not write @gbdeclaration and did not sign it 3. The GBD did not declare that the virus "not dangerous". On the contrary, it called for better focused protection for the elderly given the high risk from covid infection for that group 4. Lauterbach seems to not have any inkling of the damage his lockdown policies did to the poor, to children, and to the working class. Germany has worse covid results than next-door Sweden. I am very sorry for the German people that someone as unqualified as this was health minister during the pandemic.
