@sidtriv That explains why Lyft wanted $40. Both Lyft and Uber charge more if you are coming from an expensive restaurant or shop. This is what it looks like from the outside. I was walking up the street and it became more and more deserted so decided to call uber

Lyft will probably go bankrupt. This is yesterday quoting $30+ for a < 2 miles ride when Uber quoted half.

@joshelman Yes, it was not consistent because there was no real process. People went up to board, c-staff, CIO to pull a favor to get blue checks. That was the only way to get blue check then

@ppgosavi Not saying the team prioritized consistently. But again, they weren’t trying to pick a grant status. Just identity vs impersonation.

The problem is the blue check was always about identity and not about status. Everyone imbued it as status. Removing identity and switching it to status loses the plot entirely.

@sv_techie @davey_juice I think only Netskope had a real shot. Snyk was on the edge. Wiz just hit $100M+ ARR. Don't confuse high valuations with the potential to go public. Lacework, orca, abnormal still < $100M. You need $200M+ growing at 100% or at least high 70-80%. Tanium has its own set of problems

Amazed that the very people who charge for content/have paywalls (journalists, authors, media publications) are the most upset about having to pay for @Twitter. If you step away from your POV on @elonmusk, why is it such a big deal that a for profit business has changed their pricing plan ?
