(3/3) This data from Cloudflare is a case-in-point. Users use browsers, bots use point-to-point protocols. Even with software libraries, and network visibility, there’s a limit to what you can do when your hardware/software dependencies are managed by others!

(2/3) A huge amount of the talks I saw focused on issues relating to device management - a classic cybersecurity issue. They can force PQC on browsers and protocols, but nobody could identify hardware root-of-trust solutions that offer PQC on the market.

(1/3) Those who are in Taipei right now are getting an honest look into how the PQC migration is going within the industry leaders (Google, AWS, Samsung, Cloudflare, etc.) There’s a lot of work to do.
