He’s not, there have been major attempts at interfaith communications by Muslims too.
In 2007- 138 prominent Muslim scholars signed a letter of dialogue with the Catholic Church, aiming at shared peace.
In 2019 The Document on Human Fraternity, Abu Dhabi Declaration had major Muslim organizations also calling for peace and dialogue between the Christian world and Muslims.
It is not One Directional; Muslims do it, And Protestants do this too.

To be honest I never fully got it. I exchanged €100 at a bank (yes a bank) by the port and got around 20,000 dinar. Which seemed generous.
That said, I got no receipt or anything.

I find it deeply frustrating that Algeria gives such prominence to christianity, given that colonial France built churches for a population that was 99% Muslim, justified by the claim that, prior to Algeria's Islamization, there had been a small Christian presence in the region, ridiculous, colonial France attempted to forcibly Christianize our ancestors its deeply unjust. May Allah SWT protect us from their agenda and plotting🤲🏻🕋
